BENOUC: 8°07'10.70"N 13°49'45.30"E = Cameroon - Benoue NP - Benoue Campement - no real campsite just level grass area behind rooms - can use all facilities of restaurant but no showers - A2 C4 B1 D1 F3 L1 SX T1 W2
BOTGAC: 4°00'37.50"n 9°12'10.40"E = Cameroon - Limbe - Botanical Garden Guest House - camping is in the small car-park - AU? C4 BX DX FX LX SC T1 W2
MTKUPE: 4°49'39.48"N 9°40'43.06"E = Cameroon - Nyassoso - Mt Kupé Conservation office - where allowed to camp free - C4 BX D1 FX L1 SX T3 W2
NGAOUC: 7°08'02.28"N 13°41'45.42"E = Cameroon - Ngaoundéré - Ngaoundaba Lodge allows camping around the car-park - A2 C4 B1 D1 F2 L1 S1 T1 W2
WAZACC: 11°23'46.35"N 14°33'34.61"E = Cameroon - Waza - Waza Campement - camping allowed in desert beside camp and can use basic facilities of restaurant - free - A2 C4 B1 D1 F2 L1 S1 T1 W2
Bush campsites
KORUP: 5°00'28.30"N 8°52'19.34"E = Cameroon - Korup NP - Only campsite on east bank of river (i.e. as far as vehicle can reach) - river flies very bad - no facilities
L_AWIN: 5°51'50.27"N 10°11'55.27"E = Cameroon - Lake Awing - Next to Bafut-Nguemba Forest Reserve - pleasant setting - I camped on level ground above the picnic site
LALOPE: 0°06'00.98"S 11°35'37.70"E = Cameroon - La Lope - The Lodge at La Lope does not allow camping so I had to camp near to the railway siding - OK but one train passed during night
Hotels, Lodges, etc
BENOUE: 8°07'10.69"N 13°49'45.34"E = Cameroon - Benoue NP - Benoue Campement - basic campsite and must use toilets of restaurant but have access to lodge's entertainment areas - camping is free - A2 C4 F2
BOTGAR: 4°00'37.46"N 9°12'10.44"E = Cameroon - Limbe - Botanical Gardens Rest House - should be open to visitors but it looked like all the rooms were rented out to long-term residents when I was there - there are several good-looking hotels nearby which might provide better service - however it has probably the only campsite - AU? C4
NGAOUN: 7°08'02.28"N 13°41'45.42"E = Cameroon - Ngoundere - Ngaoundaba Lodge is a very pleasant place to stay (but beds are too short) in excellent birding area - A2 C4 F2
TANGOH: 3°53'04.00"N 11°30'12.20"E = Cameroon - Yaoundé - Tango Hotel is one of the better mid-range hotels in Yaoundé - A2 F2 $1
WAZACA: 11°23'46.35"N 14°33'34.61"E = Cameroon - Waza - Waza Campement is OK but was full when I visited with Nigerians ferrying cars by convoy - A2 C4 F2
