GPS tracks of route - estimated

NOTE - THESE ARE NOT GPS TRACKS - BUT DIGITIZED ROUTES BASED ON FUGAWI MAPS

The information on tracks is probably only of any interest to people with GPS systems who may want to follow particular routes I have taken. They are simply long lists of co-ordinates, and there are no graphics.

The tracks provided below were NOT downloaded from a Garmin 3 Plus GPS, but rather digitized onto the Fugawi version 3 software, using a header component. The data is based on my recollections (in 2004) and based on the Fugawi maps, which are generally very old (probably circa 1960), so the routes cannot be used as anything other than to indicate the approximate route taken. Hence camping spots are also likely to be inaccurate - potentially by up to several hundred kilometres !!!!!

However, the data can be uploaded again using the same software. Should other software be used, some form of formatting of the text file may be required. Sampling was approximately every 30 seconds (so file size is determined by time travelled as opposed to distance travelled).

18 October 1993 - Kiledo Lodge, Chipinge to Haroni/Lusitu confluence and back (Zimbabwe) - 58 km - (2 KB)
19 October 1993 - Kiledo Lodge, Chipinge to Haroni/Lusitu confluence and back (Zimbabwe) - 58 km - (2 KB)
20 October 1993 - Kiledo Lodge, Chipinge to Chiredzi (Zimbabwe) - 238 km - (8 KB)
